No one prepares oneself for a child with disability because no one imagines having a child with disability, but if it happens, parent’s dreams are shattered by powerful streams of unimaginable pain, it is the listening ear and guiding expertise of the professional that holds them together. It can be a disability or learning problem (specific learning disability and dyslexia) the parent is disheartened. Aadita centre for assessment and support services is trying to be the listening ear, provides the shoulder to make the child and the parent walk independently with lot of confidence and self esteem.
The team at Aadita are catering to the needs of children with disabilities as well as learning problems. It works with children who are going to the mainstream school and yet have problems coping up with academics.
